Still trying a hybrid max ot training Today was back, bi's
BB rows. 165x6,175x6,185x7 Pulldowns 145 2x6 Seated rows 150 2x6 BB curls 110x6,115x7 Alternate DB curls. 45's rx, 47.5's rx Box squats on an 11" milk create 95x2,115x2,135x2,155x2,175x2 Well here we go!

If I squatted to an 11 inch milk crate, I doubt I would even be able to get back with no weight, much less having a barbell on my back. I like it though...Hardcore!

Im toying with the IBP meet in Oct, although not sure if I can make any aprreciable gains in strength in two months. I know I tore my right hamstring last Sept and it still rolls and tightens alot on squats and deads. If I don't think I can beat my last I wont do it but I'm going to train as though I'll do the 220's or 242's. One week down about 7 to go right now my raw total would prob be 450 squat, 300 bench, 450 dead, but if I do anything it will have to be equpted because my shoulder can't take any heavy pressing. I think I could get my squat and dead up to at least 500 on each in the next few weeks and my bench up another 15-20 lbs or so. Wow I just noticed how much I enjoy talking about myself, that ain't good!

I guess im transitioning from max ot to the conjugated method over the next couple weeks. Anyway this is what last nights chest workout looked like with a compromised shoulder
Bench Press. *255x6,265x5,275x3 Incline DB press. *82.5's. 3x6,6,7 Decline db press *80's x 7 Plate raises. 25x12 Neck curls. 30. 4x10

If its all the same to you guys I.may use this log to track workouts even if my my primary goal isn't strength gains. My joints shoulders and elbows are really being uncooperative. I can't even rotate my shoulders enough to.get my elbows under the bar while squaring. None the less here istonights w/o;
Leg ext. 30. 3x15 (warmup) Squats. 345x6,365x3,375x4 Leg press. 580. 2x6,6 Stiff deads. 105. 3x6,6,7 single leg standing calves. Bodyweight 2x10 Standing cable an crunch. 30. 2x12

I tried to upload a video from my phone to the media section. I had a guy record me doing a couple reps of squats the other night. I'm trying to do more of a power squat rather than a bodybuilding squat. I don't think my depth is there when I get wide, knees out, sitting back. I feel like if i sit back any further I'll fall backwards. If I can figure out how to upload it hopefully a few of you guys can give me some advice on how to clean it up and sink it. Here is todays training, as I said I'm transitioning into a ME/DE routine from a conventional routine So I started off Delts and tri's with a few sets of speed bench;
Bench Press 140 w/monster mini bands 5x3 YTWL's 7.5's 2x12 standing side laterals 35's 2x8,9 Seated Military press 175 1x7 Machine presses 100 2x8 DB rear lateral on incline bench 20's 2x6 DB shrugs 95's 3x6,6,7 band traction stretch for rotator cuff Nose busters 105 2x7,7, 115x5 machine dips 180x8, 200x8 pushdowns 90 2x6,7
Tomorrow is a Max effort dead day or semi max first time doing deads in over a month.

Pulldowns 155 3x6,6,7 Seated Rows 160 2x6,6 Deadlifts 135x3, 225x3, 315x3, 405x3, added belt 455x3, off 3 board 500x1 Curls 120 2x6,6 125x7 Alternate DB curls 55's 2x6,6 the last pull was touch I'm gonna try to loose a board and add 10 lbs each time Ideally that will have me pulling around 530 from the floor in a month raw, which I've never got anything out of a squat suit pulling conventional anyway
