Walking on the treadmill?! Sounds like your recovery is moving right along.
Also, it looks like nothong on paper, but I bet those PT sessions are brutal!

Walking on the treadmill?! Sounds like your recovery is moving right along. Also, it looks like nothong on paper, but I bet those PT sessions are brutal! Yes Brian I have been walking on the treadmill and riding the bike for the past two weeks, where u been at nigga? Haha.. And yes PT can be especially painful at times. I know during the first 2-3 weeks of PT when my therapist was trying to forcefully get my knee to bend again the pain was almost unbearable. But now it's just certain exercises that bother it like Leg Extensions hurt like an mothertrucker. And even though riding the bike or walking on the treadmill doesn't hurt my knee now it does make it alittle sore and stiff afterwards so I have to make sure that I ice my knee after every workout whether it's a PT session or cardio session. But I am making some pretty good progress and I just hope that I continue making good progress without any unnecessary setbacks.. Will see you tomorrow little buddy!

Not too bad an workout today. I know my elbows and shoulders were alittle sore today from my workout(s) earlier in the week so I may or may not do speed bench this upcoming week but we'll just have to wait and see how I feel on that particular day. Afterwards I went out to hooters with two of my Mud Duck Iron Brothers and we threw down on some wings. Though honestly they weren't the best wings that I have ever had but it was well worth it to be able to hang out with a couple of my buddies and while enjoying the scenery at the same time ;D Also today was an sad one as Jazz is leaving the gym, moving to Seattle, and so she will be missed greatly and a huge void will be left in the gym without her. But that's the way things go and I wish her nothing but the best and I honestly think that she has only scratched the surface of her powerlifting potential and expect only to see bigger and better things from her going into the future!

Monday August 1st, 2011 (AM- Back & Biceps):

Seated Chest Supported Rows- 100x20x3 sets CG Underhand Lat Pulldowns- 100x20x3 sets Straight-Arm Pulldowns- 80x20x3 sets Standing Barbell Curls- 45x20x3 sets
A very quick and easy workout this morning to just get the blood flowing and help promote the recovery process. I plan on going back this evening and doing some rehab work for my lower body plus probably alittle cardio as well being that I don't have PT again until this Friday which is different from my usual schedule of going on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I'll do it on Monday and Wednesday this week on my own and then on Friday I'll go see my therapist and do it with her. That way I have at least a day in between each session.

I weighed myself this morning and I bout shit myself when I saw that I weighed 295. Holy fuckin' shit!@! Man do I put weight on fast and it's not like I ate crazy bad the last couple of weeks I just slacked off alittle bit. Well anyway I'm getting back on the horse today and gettin' my shit together and lose this damn weight! I think I am going to start weighing myself everyday and post it on here to help hold myself accountable. My short-term goal going forward is to get down to 270 by september 1st. It's now or fucking never! Plus I need to get back in somewhat decent shape for the start of school since I have to be on my feet so much as an PE teacher and plus it would be ALOT easier on my knee. So please wish me luck as I pursue this battle to get my health back and weight OFF

I do believe those beer and wings got you down to 295. ;D But all seriousness congrats on the getting to 295. That is only the start. I see bigger fire in you now, and good luck with your weight loss. I gotta pick up my game or you gonna be in my weight class. I'm trying to stay the hell away from you, Tank, and Brian.

Got down to 295?? Hell I was down to 279 probably a couple of weeks or so ago and then I put 16lbs back on like it was nothing. I hate my body! I can't slack at all on my diet or I'm going to put on weight on like it ain't shit, Dammit! This is the hardest part for us Tony training our mind to say no to this damn delicious ass food that we love so much. But hey when there is a will there is always a way and we just have to find a way to overcome this weakness of ours "NEVER SETTLE"

Good PT session today. My therapist had talked to my doctor earlier and she told me that he said to her "you know Scott's doing really well isn't he, I know I have another patient who had the exact same surgery at almost the exact same time as he did and is only at 70 degrees" ROM. So hearing that made me feel really good inside and was just an great testament to my unrelenting desire and work ethic!

I am missing you guys already!!! It is just not the same. Hopefully when I come back around November I'll be able to get a training session in with my bros. My mom was very impressed with how nice you guys were. I told her that Brian was the only dick of the bunch
