Thursday August 18, 2011ConditioningTreadmill - 1 hour ____________________ The first 30 minutes was @ high intensity, and the second 30 minutes was @ low intensity. I am looking for that fat burning machine. Still a long way to go! Don't know where I am going...I am just going! My whole upper body is sore as hell! Too many reps! Don't know if I will be able to bench Sunday, but maybe I will be able to lift off for you big weight fellas!

Yea man bodybuilding is a different animal, I won't say its harder, but I will say the commintment level is more demanding. I'm trying to find a good balance cause I like to chow down too lol. I do believe that HIIT cardio trumps steady state cardio for fat burning and muscle spareing. I've trained two guys for the state bb championship over the past few years and they both won thier classes. Everyone else was doing 1-2 hours cardio per day and my guys were doing 20-25 min 5x per week at the end of their prep. You know power training I know conditioning (low bodyfat) if you are interested we can swap info sometime

Conditioning 3 Supersets of these movements Jogging in place -- 30 steps Down ups -- 10 reps Jumping(knee to chest) -- 10 reps Mountain Climbers -- 10 reps

Ok...Didn't feel like doing regular cardio on the treadmill, so I decided to change it up. I started out by just doing reps, and as I advance more in these I will start using time. It don't look like much, but it kind of kicked my ass. Round 1 felt like my heart was gonna pop out my chest...Round 2 the same with uncontrollable sweating. Round 3 was the same but worse, and had to start taking a breather as needed. Man do I suck at this!! Start to finish wasn't but about 12-18 minutes counting rest periods.
Still a long way to go!

How is the shoulder holding up Tony? The shoulder is doing pretty good, Jazz. Just kind of taking it easy, getting some blood pumping.
